Though there are many creatures that make the sky their home, none are as plentiful and varied as the bats. They come in all shapes and sizes - some make the night their home, whereas others have developed to hunt and forage during the day.
Some of them are little more than pests, whereas others are kept as pets or even revered in some cultures.
