The steppedrifters are gentle giants, more akin to moving hills than animals, but are nonetheless alive. Slowly, they make their way across the northern plains of the Rakkhari realm in search for food, as they have for countless generations. They are regarded as sacred by the people of the plains, who guard them against all those who would wish them harm, and some have even build small communities on top of a drifter, traveling with it wherever it goes.
