The Mountainborn heavily favour items that are crafted by people they have a close relationship with. Although they appreciate skilled craftsmanship, the connection they share with the one who made it is far more important. So even if an object is not particularly well crafted, they cherish it dearly as a symbol of a connection they value.
Wood, stone, clay and hair are the most used materials, as they are easy to come by and don't require advanced tools to craft.
